Wall Protection Galvanized Steel Expanded Angle Bead (corner bead)
Galvanized Corner Bead is made of galvanized sheet by stamping and bending. Usually used for stair construction, exterior wall plaster construction, plaster stop line, etc. The corner guard has good anti-corrosion function. It plays an important role in corner protection. It works well to hold the lime in the corner.
Angle beads play an important role in construction by protecting corner edges and providing clean, defined lines between materials. It ensures your walls and ceilings remain pristine for years to come. With the variety of options available, from galvanized steel to PVC, it's important to understand the differences between types of angle beads to select the right product for your specific project.
steel expanded angle bead
Expanded metal corner bead
also called diamond mesh corner bead or expanded angle bead, is manufactured from stainless steel, aluminum or galvanized expanded metal wing flanges and a solid metal nose. The expanded metal corner bead is an important part in the building constructions. It can be used in the various irregular surface to supply clean and straight corners. The angle bead with creased reinforce flange can supply additional rigidity and strength for the corner bead.
Types of expanded metal corner bead
1. Expanded angle bead. The common type of expanded metal corner bead. It consist of aluminum, stainless steel or galvanized expanded metal sheet and a metal nose.
2. Angle bead with reinforce flange. It is a reinforced structure of expanded metal corner bead. It consist of the various materials of expanded metal sheet, solid metal nose and a perforated stiffening rib. The stiffening rib supplies better strength than the expanded angle bead.
3. Angle bead with creased reinforce flange. The most solid structure among the three type. Similar to the angle bead with reinforce flange, the angel bead with creased reinforce flange has three main parts: expanded metal sheet, solid metal nose and reinforcement rib. The reinforcement rid is creased with can be suit for more applications and more solid than the common rib.
Using this sheet is very quick and simple by applying plaster dabs to the wall at both sides of the corner at approximately 600mm intervals. The bead is then placed against the corner and the mesh wings are then firmly placed in to the dabs of plaster resulting in the bead being set firmly and projecting sufficiently to the required thickness of the plaster on both sides of the corner. The corner of the bricks is fixed by using galvanized nails or wire tying. Lengths are available in standard as well as custom made lengths

Common Applications:
Plastering corners of the wall
Corner Beads are plastered to walls to create true and straight corners. It provides strength and protects the wall against chipping and cracking.
Wing length ranges from 35mm to 45m. Bead length is available in 2 metre, 2.4 metre and 3.4 metres.

Material:
Galvanized steel: Popular for its durability and affordability. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
Stainless steel: Offers superior corrosion resistance and strength. Ideal for high-moisture areas and outdoor environments.
PVC (polyvinyl chloride): Lightweight and flexible, making it a good choice for interior projects with curved surfaces.
Aluminum: Combines lightweight construction with corrosion resistance. It is easy to install and suitable for various applications.
2.Type:
Metal angle beads: The most versatile type, available in various sizes and thicknesses.
Skim coat angle beads: Thin and flexible, designed for thin-coat plaster applications.
Architrave angle beads: Used to create a seamless transition between walls and architraves.
Bull Nose angle beads: Feature a rounded edge, ideal for curved corners and arches.
Stop bead angle beads: Create a clean edge between plaster and other materials.
Casing beads: Used for protecting abutments.
L beads: Used where the plasterboard edge is not exposed.
LC beads: Used to make sure the finishing coats are blended back into the sheets.
Corner beads: Used for finishing external and internal corners.
Shadow gap angles: Used for finishing external corners
