Galvanized steel wire is the steel wire with zinc coat. It is usually used for cable, steel wire rope and steel strand. There are 2 ways to make the galvanized steel wire: hot dip and electroplate. Our factory focuses on hot-dipped galvanized steel wire. Compared to electroplate technology, hot dipped galvanized steel wire has many advantages as below:

1. The hot dip process is before the wire drawing process, which makes the surface of steel wire smoother and well-distributed. The adhesive force of zinc is stronger. It will be hard to fall apart from steel wire.
2. The zinc coating density of hot dipped galvanized steel wire is about 15-400g/m2, while the electroplate is only about 6-150g/m2. As a result, the heat resistance of hot dipped wire is much better. Moreover, it passes the 48 hours acid mist test.
